Vaccines available for H1N1 and seasonal influenza

The United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local health officials and doctors recommend vaccination as the first and most important prevention strategy for both seasonal influenza and H1N1 influenza.

H1N1 Flu Vaccine

Eligibility for H1N1 vaccination in Whatcom County has been expanded to all over 6 months of age. Now that the vaccine is open to everyone the Whatcom County Health Department urges all residents to get the vaccine.  Vaccine is available in several Whatcom County locations including local pharmacies, medical provider offices, and at scheduled community vaccination clinics. Seasonal Flu Vaccine

Seasonal flu vaccine is available. You can receive the vaccine at your primary care provider’s office or at a community clinic (PDF).
