A number of vacancies on City boards, commissions and committees offer Bellingham citizens opportunities to serve their community.
The advisory groups listed below have vacancies as of Feb. 3, 2010. Candidates for these positions must be current residents of the State of Washington, and have been so for at least three (3) years; must presently live within Bellingham City limits and have done so for at least two (2) years, unless otherwise specified; and be a registered voter and a U.S. Citizen. Some vacancies have additional requirements, such as professional membership or expertise in a particular area.
